The Mount Washington Swimming Club, established in 1970, is a member-owned private pool. Memberships are open to Mount Washington residents and a limited number of non-residents. The Club is for the use of members and their guests only; day passes are not available.
Located at 2300 Enslow Avenue, just off Greenspring Avenue, the Club offers amenities including general swim areas, lap lanes, a diving board, a special play section for “Sharks and Minnows”, and a separate fenced-in children’s pool. Certified lifeguards are always on duty, and clean changing and shower facilities are available.
The grounds of the Club also include picnic tables, a basketball court, a volleyball net, tetherball, a ping-pong table, and climbing structures for young children, plus plenty of shady and sunny space for just sitting around and relaxing. Ice cream and soda are available for purchase at the clubhouse, or you can picnic with take-out from our fine local restaurants, many of which deliver to the Club. Members may also use the grounds for private parties.
